Kombuchinnati Brewing Company is seeking a qualified, results-driven Sales Support Representative with an excellent understanding of our sales process and who excels at generating new qualified leads, building relationships, and ultimately closing deals. Sales Support Representatives are the primary point of contact between Kombuchinnati and our customers. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills and the ability to showcase Kombuchinnati's craft beverages. Personable and professional Sales Support Representatives will achieve weekly sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.

Kombuchinnati Brewing Company bridges the gap between "Function" and "Flavor" by exclusively sourcing natural nutraceutical (Functional) ingredients to help maintain healthy bodily functions. Kombuchinnati manufactures and distributes a broad portfolio of functional beverages to greater Cincinnati and beyond. Specializing in brewing high-quality Craft Kombucha, Kombuchinnati changes consumers' thinking about functional beverages by cultivating unique flavor profiles modeled after food concepts and being the first Black Owned Kombucha Brewery in Ohio. Not being afraid to stand out from the crowd, Kombuchinnati constantly innovates our production procedures and formulas to appeal to a broader demographic of beverage drinkers.

Kombuchinnatis' mission is to utilize our functional beverages to restore underserved communities with philanthropy, volunteerism, and networking with nonprofit partners, who align with Kombuchinnati's Vision. 

Ione Sally was introduced to kombucha by a foster parent who recommended using holistic methods (natural probiotics) to heal a stomach ulcer he had in high school (The School for Creative and Performing Arts Class of 2018). A few months after discovering the probiotic capabilities of kombucha, Ione quickly became a home brewer and even sold his home-brewed kombucha to his classmates, who encouraged him to legitimize his hobby into a business. After one year of research and development, Ione officially launched Kombuchinnati in 2019 after graduating from Cincinnati's most prolific business accelerator, Mortar, and began hand bottling 5-gallon batches at a local commercial kitchen. The demand for kombucha increased so much that Ione quickly expanded from several 5-gallon buckets to three 248-gallon fermentation tanks. Three years later, Ione scaled Kombuchinnatis batch size from 744 gallons to over 500 bbls (1bbl=31 gals) produced annually. 

The goal is to scale Kombuchinnati Brewing Company into an Internationally Recognized Beverage Brand through self-distribution while manufacturing our beverages independently. 

Who You Are

Talented Sales Support Representatives have exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. 

You are friendly and confident in your ability no matter what obstacles are placed ahead of you. Sharp personal presentation and emotional intelligence is second nature to you.  Sales Support Representatives can work without direct supervision and have extensive knowledge of Kombuchinnati’s products, Mission-Statement, and services.

  • Two (2) years of Craft Beverage sales experience are required with extensive familiarity with DOT (Department of Transportation) rules and requirements.

  • Strong familiarity with hand trucks and pallet jacks.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Good ability to lift and move products weighing up to 100 pounds.

  • Leadership, active listening, time management, discipline, honesty, initiative, and persistence are the qualities that make you the perfect candidate for Kombuchinnati.

What You’ll Do

The primary responsibility of a Sales Support Representative is to generate new sales for Kombuchinnati Brewing Company. Punctual Sales Support Representatives always meet customer deadlines and expand sales while delivering products to customers. Adept at meeting all scheduled stops, making add-on sales, and working with sales professionals to create new customer routes. 

Sales Support Representatives deliver customer service which includes rapport building, attentiveness to customer needs, and communication along with ensuring customer stock levels are never low. Communicating customer information such as problems/issues, successes, and sales opportunities. Sales Support Representatives manage the customer base within the established route with an average of sixty (60) + stops per day. 

Lives and promotes the Beliefs of Kombuchinnati Brewing Company, including respect for people, continuous self-improvement, exceeding customer and consumer expectations working to meet the company’s sales goals. Travels through assigned territory in Kombuchinnati Brewing Company's route truck to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit and deliver orders - Your route may require overnight travel. Kombuchinnati Brewing Company covers lodging and travel expenses.
